Product Application
Polymerization Initiator
Ammonium persulfate generates SO₄⁻· free radicals through thermal decomposition, which efficiently initiates the chain polymerization of vinyl monomers. It is the core initiator for emulsion polymerization and water-soluble polymer synthesis. Its advantages are environmental protection, economy and pH/temperature adaptability, but the dosage must be precisely controlled (0.01%–1%) to avoid side reactions.
Disinfectant
Potassium persulfate (K₂S₂O₈) is used in disinfectants mainly to achieve efficient sterilization and disinfection through its strong oxidizing property. It also has broad spectrum, environmental friendliness and application flexibility.
Bleaching Agent
Potassium persulfate has become a green alternative in modern bleaching processes due to its free radical oxidation mechanism and low-temperature high efficiency, significantly reducing environmental burden while improving bleaching efficiency. Its application must strictly follow safety regulations, but its comprehensive performance (such as energy consumption, environmental protection, and fiber protection) has made it a mainstream choice in the fields of textiles, water treatment, etc.
Wastewater Treatment
Polyvinyl alcohol can adsorb pollutants and purify water in the field of wastewater treatment.
