Acrylamide(AM)
Description
Overview
Acrylamide, also known as 2-acrylamide, is a white crystalline chemical that is also a raw material for the production of polyacrylamide. Soluble in water, ethanol, acetone, slightly soluble in benzene, toluene, hexane, chemical formula for C3H5NO, molecular weight of 71.08, odorless. It has the properties of flocculation, thickening, shearing resistance, resistance reduction and dispersibility and can be used as the raw material of medicine, pesticide, dye and coating.

Product Application
Industrial Additives
Acrylamide is the core monomer of polyacrylamide, and its derivative polyacrylamide is known as the "auxiliary agent for all industries" due to its unique physical and chemical properties. It is widely used in dozens of industries such as water treatment, oil extraction, papermaking, and textiles.
Sewage Treatment
Polyvinyl alcohol can absorb pollutants and purify water in the field of sewage treatment.
ProcessingSoil Conditioner
Acrylamide (in the form of PAM) has become the "golden component" of soil conditioners through the three core mechanisms of bridging soil consolidation, water absorption and slow release, and nutrient retention. It has the effects of water conservation and drought resistance (building a "solid water reservoir" in the soil, reducing irrigation by more than 50%), anti-erosion and soil stabilization (bonding sandy soil and loose compacted soil, reducing erosion by 78%), and fertility circulation (increasing fertilizer utilization by 40% and activating microbial decomposition activity).
Fiber Modification
Polyvinyl alcohol is used for fiber modification to enhance yarn strength and abrasion resistance.
